Good Morning November!

2 Nov

It was so great to get an extra hour of sleep the other day! It got me right back on track and my energy is aligned to brew up some great events!

Today is actually one of the deadlines for Artisans’ to confirm booth spots for the Moretown Artisans’ Sale! I can’t wait to start profiling them! This show is going to be so great – best ever!! I will also know very soon if there are any new openings – if you are at all interested in a booth, get on the waiting list right now by contacting me!

Well, time to go take my beautifully carved pumpkins (if I do say so, myself!) to the compost pile, stack a little wood maybe, (or maybe save that for later…!) and get crackin’ on my events schedule!

Enjoy the sunshine!

Moretown Artisans’ Sale – full speed ahead!

3 Oct

massoonIt’s gloomy rainy day in VT and that means I’m going to be multitasking between watching my beloved New England sports teams, making cooking and getting all my Moretown Artisan’s Sale ducks in a row!

I’ve just uploaded the application so if you are interested in having a booth at the best local holiday sale around, then print one of these puppies out and get it to me ASAP! Booths are in hot demand and availability is about to open up to first time vendors this Monday! Booth are on a first come, first serve basis so contact me right away!

I will be launching a wordpress blog just for the sale very soon so stay tuned!

cheers!

On deck…

23 Sep

SIP circlesWhile SIPtemberfest has certainly dominated my To Do List recently, it’s not the only project I have going on! I have several private parties lined up, but following those, I will be serving up some really tasty events for the whole community to eat right up!

First up on deck is  Josh Madsen’s deliciously ski-pornographic FreeHeelLife movie at the Big Picture on  December 10th. You know how reading all those ski magazines makes you feel about this time of year? You’re just comping at the bit and can’t wait to get out on the snow! Madsen’s FreeHeelLife movie will be like throwing white gas on the bonfire – careful not to burn your eyebrows off! The timing of this film couldn’t be better as knocks on the door of Mad River Glen’s projected opening weekend! So if you do scorch your frizz, you can cover it right up with your helmet and goggles and no one will be the wiser!

My own personal opening days of the season will have to come on skins though!  MRG’s opening weekend coincides with the best holiday shopping event around: the Moretown Artisans’ Sale. This sale is chock full of so many amazing hand crafted products you are bound to find a gift for everyone on your list – even your picky aunt or that cousin who already has everything! The Moretown Artisans’ Sale is not only a great opportunity for you to find that perfect gift, but to support local businesses and artisans. So even though I can’t be in two places at once, there’s not reason you can’t get your first turns of the season and cross everything off of your holiday shopping list! Check and Check!
