I hate the whole idea of New Year’s Resolutions. It’s never seemed liked anything more than another way to set yourself up for failure. We set lofty goals and stick to our plans for about as long as it takes to order a beer and nachos in the bar apres ski. Oopsies.
But this year I have made some resolutions. I’m not going on a diet or learning a new language or trying to change some bad habit (I like my bad habits, thank you very much!) I am, however, resoluting to throw better parties. I have some great ideas blossoming and I can’t wait to show them off! My first successful bloom is that I am now offering ONLINE SALES for tickets to some of my events so you don’t get turned away at the door! I might even start some online retailing of those cute hats I sell…!
So instead of resoluting to learn some crazy new sport or try the latest fashion trend, I think I’ll just vow to get even better at that which I already do!
